About the Role
We’re hiring a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) to join our dedicated behavioral health team in North Carolina. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you’ll provide evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, helping them achieve recovery and stability. This role involves direct counseling, case management, and collaboration with community resources to support long-term recovery. You’ll deliver services across community and clinical settings with a flexible, client-centered approach. As a minister of the gospel, the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for facilitating marriages, communion, baptisms and funerals as those opportunities present themselves, serving the spiritual needs of individuals and communities through these important moments of life and faith.
Responsibilities
● Deliver individual and group counseling focused on substance abuse recovery and relapse prevention
● Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and treatment planning in accordance with best practices
● Provide case management, crisis intervention, and client education
● Maintain accurate documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with state and agency standards
● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and psychiatric providers
● Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities
Required Qualifications
● Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS)
● Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing substance abuse counseling
● Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Additional Requirements:
Pay: $65,166.02 - $78,479.50 per year
