IPS manufactures its products in the United States of America and has been delivering world-class solutions to the telecommunications and parking industries for over 25 years. The company is best known for their patented credit card enabled, solar powered single-space parking meter and web-based management system.

Job Description:

The Marketing Content Manager is responsible for developing, writing, and managing compelling content across digital and print channels that support brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including copywriting, SEO-focused content development, and social media management. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a creative mindset, a solid understanding of digital marketing best practices, can adapt messaging for diverse audiences and platforms, and is a self-starter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Development & Copywriting

  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality copy for a wide range of digital and print assets, including website pages, blogs, case studies, email campaigns, sales collateral, brochures, technical materials, and event materials.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all channels in accordance with established IPS brand and messaging guidelines.

SEO & Digital Best Practices

  • Develop SEO-optimized content aligned with keyword strategies and search intent.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to improve organic search visibility and content performance.
  • Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and content optimization best practices.

Social Media Management

  • Plan, manage, and collaborate with the in-house graphic designer to create social media content.
  • Apply social media best practices to increase engagement, reach, and follower growth.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on insights and trends.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, client success, and engineering) to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Contribute to content calendars and campaign planning.
  • Support brand storytelling initiatives and thought leadership efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Working knowledge of SEO writing principles and content optimization.
  • Experience managing social media content for a brand or organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in B2B marketing environments.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Moz, Yoast, Google Analytics), HubSpot, WordPress, and social media management tools.
  • Experience in the parking, mobility, smart city, or technology industries is a plus, but not required.

Education/Experience:
