We are a residential remodeling company located in Charlotte, NC, seeking an experienced and strong Office Manager/Interior Designer. This individual will perform a variety of administrative tasks and managerial tasks for our growing small business. You must be computer savvy, professional, proactive, articulate, confident, have a good attitude, and be well-organized. This position is required to work out of the owners home office located in SouthPark.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Right hand to owner.
- Oversee all phases of projects from planning stages, through production to completion.
- Facilitate communication between office, owner, field superintendents, subcontractors and vendors.
- Communicate with clients throughout project production to ensure satisfaction and problem solving issues with the owner and superintendents.
- Take down new lead info, write estimates, contracts, apply for permits, innovate new forms of organization when possible.
- Accounts payable/receivable management, general booking and office management.
- Calculate monthly bonus commissions
- Price Additional Work Orders
- Manage hiring and onboarding process for office, subs, and vendors.
- Personal assistant duties.
- Strong leadership and management/time management skills, detailed oriented multi-tasker.
- Self motivated with sound PR skills to work with upper and lower management, clients, and tradespeople.
- Must be able to work close with homeowners for selections.
- Pulling residential permits & understanding the process.
- Some administrative work may be involved.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain confidential information, documents, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment with pressure to meet deadlines
- Willingness to be flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, personable over the phone in person

- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Ability to learn quickly
- Construction background / knowledge is preferred
- Must know how to create and understand construction documents (plans, elevations, sections, title blocks etc.). If you only have experience creating renderings, please don't apply, we focus on construction drawings.
- Understanding client needs: Working with clients to understand their goals and requirements for the project
- Planning: Considering how the space will be used and how people will move through it
- Estimating: Creating a timeline and estimating project costs
- Ordering and installing: Placing orders for materials and overseeing the installation of design elements
- Coordinating: Coordinating with general building contractors to implement the plans
- Proficient in measuring and client interaction on projects a must.
- Proficient: MAC/PC, MS Word/Works, Microsoft/Windows, AutoCAD, experience with Photoshop, Sketchup, and other design software is a plus.
- Pay will depend on experience!
