Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, manage, and control day-to-day site activities, ensuring all civil works are executed in line with approved drawings, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to achieve project milestones and maintain smooth coordination across all stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily site reports, weekly updates, and monthly progress summaries, outlining accomplishments, delays, and corrective measures.
- Anticipate and identify project risks, bottlenecks, or deviations, and develop effective mitigation and recovery plans.
- Carry out routine site inspections and quality audits to ensure workmanship, materials, and construction methods meet established QA/QC standards.
- Review and comment on shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure strict enforcement of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace at all times.
- Support cost and resource management activities including procurement follow-ups, material reconciliation, interim payment preparation, and budget tracking.
- Provide hands-on technical support to supervisors, foremen, and site teams to resolve engineering or execution challenges effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection reports, NCRs, RFI logs, and project correspondence.
- Actively engage in coordination and stakeholder meetings, providing technical insights and updating progress, challenges, and corrective actions.
- Promote best practices in construction execution, including value engineering, productivity enhancement, and resource optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 7–10 years of proven experience in civil construction and site supervision (residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and scheduling software (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, quality control processes, and local authority regulations.
- Familiarity with contract administration, project documentation, and approval processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving on-site issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- GCC experience and a valid driving license are highly desirable.
