This could be an hourly role or base plus commission.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee handyman projects and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management, and proficiency in various construction management software. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all terms are met and adhered to during the project.
  • Oversee construction estimating processes to provide accurate budget forecasts.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to guide project execution effectively.
  • Implement time management strategies to optimize productivity on-site.
  • Maintain documentation related to project progress, changes, and communications.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong understanding of project coordination.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Primavera for effective project oversight.
  • Strong skills in construction estimating and project scheduling methodologies.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with contracts related to construction projects is preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
