Construction Project Manager

Project Manager
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

We are currently representing a well-established general contractor based in Honolulu that is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
  • Review construction documents and ensure project scope is clearly defined
  • Monitor project progress and address issues related to schedule, cost, and quality
  • Lead project meetings and communicate regularly with clients, architects, and internal teams
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
  • Support estimating and preconstruction activities when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a general contractor
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management practices
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple project stakeholders
  • Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing projects in Hawaii

This is an opportunity to join a respected local contractor and play a key role in delivering commercial construction projects throughout Hawaii.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
