Construction Safety Manager (CHST) – Semiconductor Construction Project

Job Summary
Large industrial construction project in Manassas, VA seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager (CHST) to support a long-term project with strong compensation and potential extension.

Contract Safety Professionals, LLC is seeking a qualified Construction Safety Manager / EHS Specialist to support a major construction project. The selected candidate will provide on-site safety leadership, ensure OSHA compliance, conduct safety training, and support hazard prevention efforts to maintain a safe and productive jobsite.

Schedule:

1099 Independent Contractor

Approximately 50 hours per week

Must have an LLC or ability to establish one

Per Diem:

Per diem available for qualified candidates

Duration:

1-year project with potential to extend

Pay Range:

$50–$70 per hour (DOE)

Typical schedule ~50 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

• CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification – required
• Current OSHA 500 Construction Trainer authorization – required
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
• Ability to conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and OSHA training
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices
• Experience performing jobsite inspections, hazard identification, and corrective actions
• Ability to work with general contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting semiconductor construction projects
• Experience supporting industrial or petrochemical construction projects
• Previous roles such as Construction Safety Manager, EHS Manager, Site Safety Manager, or Safety Supervisor

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor
• Must operate under an LLC or be able to establish one
