Superintendent – Large Commercial Construction

A nationally ranked ENR Top 20 General Contractor is seeking an experienced
Superintendent
to join its field leadership team. This builder delivers large-scale commercial projects across the U.S., including corporate offices, higher education facilities, public assembly venues, and interiors ranging from $50M to $500M+.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day on-site leadership for field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across all phases of construction.

Develop and maintain site logistics, manpower plans, and short-interval schedules in coordination with project management.

Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings and enforce compliance with project plans, specifications, and Holder standards.

Oversee site safety programs, perform inspections, and implement corrective measures.

Manage project documentation including daily reports, field logs, and QA/QC tracking.

Collaborate with Project Managers on cost tracking, change orders, and schedule updates.

Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Engineers, and craft professionals to support career development and team performance.
Qualifications

7+ years superintendent experience with a general contractor; large commercial project background required.

Successful completion of $50M+ vertical building projects (higher education, office, institutional, or public assembly preferred).

Strong technical understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP systems.

Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera P6.

Demonstrated ability to lead diverse subcontractor teams and maintain strong client relationships.

OSHA 30 and safety-first mindset.
