Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 Annually, Plus Performance Bonus

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and safety-focused Superintendent to join our team.
Position Summary
The Superintendent is the onsite leader responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of assigned commercial construction projects throughout Northern Nevada, with an immediate need for leadership on a project potentially in the Winnemucca area through the first quarter of 2026. This role requires a hands-on professional with a deep understanding of scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor management. The Superintendent acts as the primary on-site representative for Schell Creek Construction, ensuring all work aligns with design specifications, budget, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities

Safety and Quality Management
Enforce a best-in-class safety culture, conducting regular site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, particularly OSHA standards.
Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and quality control in all phases of construction.
Manage project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and warranty work.

Project Execution and Scheduling
Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site, overseeing all subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
Develop, maintain, and drive the project schedule to ensure key milestones and completion dates are met.
Proactively identify and resolve potential construction conflicts or delays to maintain project flow.
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating all required municipal and third-party inspections.

Communication and Reporting
Serve as the main point of contact for the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and clients on site matters.
Utilize Buildertrend construction management software for daily reports, site logs, progress photos, and communication.
Conduct regular subcontractor meetings to review safety, progress, sequencing, and quality control.
Maintain accurate documentation of site conditions, progress, and change orders.

Financial and Administrative
Assist the Project Manager in the accurate forecasting of labor, material, and equipment needs.
Ensure material deliveries are coordinated, inspected, and securely stored on-site.
Drive accountability among subcontractors to ensure scopes of work are fully executed.
Qualifications And Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of continuous experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent on projects of similar scope ($1M - $5M).
Safety Certifications (Required): Current OSHA 30-Hour certification.
First Aid: Current First Aid / CPR certification.
Technical Skills: Proven proficiency with construction project management software, preferably Buildertrend.
Must be willing and able to travel within Northern Nevada as required, with the possibility of an initial assignment in the Winnemucca area.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of working in varied weather conditions and traversing construction sites (walking, climbing ladders, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Light Industrial, Metal Building, and TI projects is highly desirable.
MSHA certification is a plus but not required.
