Construction US Estimation Engineer

Plan Estimates are a growing construction estimating firm providing accurate, fast, and reliable quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for general contractors, builders, and developers across the United States.
Our team works on residential, commercial, and civil projects, helping contractors bid smarter and win more jobs.

We are now looking for an Experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team.

Position: Estimation EngineerLocation: Gulberg III Lahore

Job Type: Full-time / Long-term Contract

Experience Level: (2–5 years of experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects in the U.S.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Develop material, labor, and subcontractor cost breakdowns based on project scope.
• Use estimating software to measure quantities and prepare BOQs.
• Coordinate with senior estimators and project managers to ensure timely bid submissions.
• Maintain organized estimate files and templates for recurring clients.

Required Skills & Tools

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and CSI divisions.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following tools:
• Planswift
• Bluebeam Revu
• On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
• RSMeans / CostWorks
• Excel (Advanced Formulas & Formatting)
• Ability to prepare both conceptual and detailed estimates.
• Good communication and English writing skills (must be able to read U.S. project documents).
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and reliable.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Prior experience working on U.S. or Canadian construction projects.
• Familiarity with material pricing databases or supplier coordination.
• Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying background.

Compensation
PKR 70,000 - 150,000 month, depending on skills, tool experience, and accuracy speed.
