We are currently seeking a highly experienced Consultant Physician – Vascular Surgeon specializing in complex vascular surgery to join a prestigious government healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex vascular conditions and performing advanced surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of vascular diseases and disorders affecting arteries and veins.
• Perform advanced and complex vascular surgical procedures, including open and endovascular interventions.
• Manage conditions such as aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, and vascular trauma.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as vascular ultrasound, CT angiography, MR angiography, and other imaging studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and critical care specialists.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and surgical staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Vascular Surgery.
• Extensive experience in complex vascular surgical procedures.
• Eligible for DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) Consultant License.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience at consultant level.
• Strong expertise in open vascular and endovascular procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
