consultant pulmonologist

• Diagnose and treat respiratory disorders such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, TB, ILD, and lung infections.
• Take detailed medical history and perform physical examinations related to lung health.
• Interpret diagnostic tests (X-ray, CT, HRCT, PFT, spirometry, ABG, sleep studies).
• Perform procedures like bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, pleural fluid tapping, and lung biopsy (where applicable).
• Manage acute respiratory emergencies such as asthma attacks, pneumothorax, and respiratory failure.
• Provide ventilator management and oversee ICU respiratory care.
• Prescribe medications, inhalers, nebulization therapy, and oxygen therapy.
• Educate patients on inhaler techniques, breathing exercises, lifestyle modifications, and smoking cessation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when needed.
• Coordinate with physicians, intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and technicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, and follow hospital protocols.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety as per hospital/NABH guidelines.
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement programs.
• Stay updated with advancements in pulmonology and attend CMEs/conferences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
