Position:Content Creator

Term:Part-time, 8-10 hrs a week

Days/Times:Flexible schedule; some in-person hours required for filming.

Pay:Starting at $14 - $18 per hour (commensurate with portfolio and experience)

About us: Treleaf is a direct-to-consumer manufacturer of wooden home decor. We are known for our unique products, high quality, and excellent customer service. Our brand lives at the intersection of nature, home styling, and functional art. We are looking for a creative storyteller to bring our products to life online.

Position Overview: We’re seeking a creative, trend-savvy Content Creator who can capture, edit, and publish engaging content that drives traffic, builds brand awareness, and converts followers into customers. If you live on social media, understand viral moments, and know how to make content pop—this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Create and post engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Shoot short-form videos (Reels, TikToks) in the workshop and on location.
• Shoot long-form video tutorials for youtube and our website
• Capture plant trellises, houseplant care, and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Edit videos, add music, captions, and trending effects.
• Stay on top of plant-specific and general social media trends to fit the Treleaf brand.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule and brand voice.
• Engage with followers, comments, and messages.
• Write compelling captions and educational blog/newsletter content (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Proven experience creating content for social media (portfolio required).
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools).
• Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and engagement strategies.
• Creative eye for visuals, branding, and storytelling.
• Comfortable being on camera and directing others on camera.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for plants and plant care is highly preferred.
• Strong writing skills for captions and storytelling.
