About The Role

We're looking for a skilled and creative Social Media Content Creator to own the content calendar and produce high-quality, platform-native content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Snapchat for our KSA and Egypt markets.

This is a content execution role. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller with video creation capability, deep familiarity with Arabic-language audiences, and a track record of producing content that performs.

  • Content Calendar Ownership
  • Plan and manage the monthly and weekly content calendar across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat) for KSA and Egypt
  • Coordinate with the growth and partnership teams to align content with campaigns, merchant promotions, and seasonal moments
  • Ensure a consistent publishing cadence and platform-appropriate scheduling
  • Develop and produce high-quality content — short-form video, static posts, carousels, Stories, and Reels — tailored to each platform's format and audience behaviour
  • Write compelling Arabic and English copy that is culturally appropriate and resonant for KSA and Egyptian audiences
  • Follow ShopCash brand guidelines for tone, visual identity, and creative direction
  • Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and production efficiency
  • Adapt content format, tone, and length to each platform: short-form video for TikTok and Snapchat, visual storytelling for Instagram, professional and value-led for LinkedIn, community-oriented for Facebook
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes, trending content formats, and audience behaviour — particularly in KSA
  • Brief or direct the design team where required for supporting visual assets
  • Identify and flag organic content suitable for boosting in coordination with the marketing manager
  • Ensure boosted post creatives are adapted appropriately for the promoted format
  • Monitor content performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, video views) on a weekly basis
  • Report on content performance and recommend adjustments to the calendar or format mix based on data

Experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media content creation for a consumer brand, app, or e-commerce product
  • Demonstrated experience owning a content calendar across multiple platforms and markets
  • Prior experience in a cashback, fintech, e-commerce, or rewards brand is an advantage
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working across KSA, UAE, and Egypt markets

Content & Creative Skills

  • Strong video creation skills: scripting, shooting, and editing short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Snapchat)
  • Solid copywriting ability in Arabic (native or fluent) and English
  • Proficiency in content creation and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, Adobe Photoshop)
  • Mandatory experience using AI tools for content ideation, caption writing, or creative production

Market & Platform Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the KSA social media landscape: platform preferences, trending formats, cultural sensitivities, and audience behaviour
  • Familiarity with Egypt's digital content environment and how it differs from KSA
  • Platform-specific expertise across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Working Style

  • Ability to work independently and manage a content calendar with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Collaborative — able to work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and commercial teams
