Content Creator & Social Media Manager (Full Time / On-Site)

As social media & content specialist, you will join a high performing and hard working sport aviation team based in based in beautiful Plymouth, MA (Cape Cod). 

Goulian Aerosports is a highly successful air show business that has a motivated and perfection-oriented team of professionals which, over the last 25 years, has performed at air shows around North America, competed in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, and has activated with its corporate sponsors at aviation industry events. Essential Functions (the work you’ll do…)

The Content Creator & Social Media Manager will be the lead story teller for Goulian Aerosports' social properties and will be challenged with the following responsibilities:

• Own and manage the social media posts for all Goulian Aerosports social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok & Twitter
• Will report to senior company leadership and effectively collaborate to deliver on-time and on-brand social posts executing social media posts in accordance with the master social media calendar
• Will help to establish social KPIs and then work to exceed them every month
• Travel with the Goulian Aerosports team to select aviation events, planning, writing and posting daily social media posts at events with excellence
• Plan, record and edit both long-form video content for YouTube and short-form content for Instagram & TikTok, budgeting the correct amount of time for all video creation activities, including working cross-functionally with all parts of the business to proactively schedule aircraft and company assets and employees required for video shoots
• Manage still photography assets, working proactively with professional photographers to plan shots to be gathered at Goulian Aerosports events
• Use of phone camera and company professional photography/videography equipment to visually capture key event and aerosports activities including airshow fan and sponsor interactions, industry events and airshow performances

Position Requirements (what we need from you…)

• Extremely detail-oriented and comfortable creating social media content. Applicant will provide examples of current social media channels they are managing for a current or previous employer 
• Must be a great teammate with a “can-do” attitude who meshes well within a high performing team
• Self-starter who takes initiative and continually raises the bar, employing effective social media tactics for maximum reach
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Must have video recording and video editing experience, including both digital video equipment and iPhone videos, applicant to provide examples. Video equipment to be provided
• Must have video editing experience using Adobe or Apple creative suite software.
• Experience writing social media post copy
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be willing to travel to select aviation events to capture social content
• Must be willing to work some nights and weekends that are outside of normal business hours
• Neat and professional personal appearance required at aviation events as a representative of the company and our sponsors 
• DSLR & GoPro photography experience a plus
• Experience with website editing and maintenance a plus (Wordpress preferred)
• Aviation or action-sports experience required 

Remuneration

Annual salary commensurate with experience. Starting Salary 60K - 70K
