Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, motivated, and organized Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our team on a part-time or internship basis. This role is perfect for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing. You’ll help manage social media accounts, design eye-catching graphics, and craft engaging content to grow our brand and connect with our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and schedule content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Create graphics, photos, and short-form videos that align with brand voice.
• Write engaging captions and copy tailored to target audiences.
• Manage daily posting, engagement, and community interaction.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online feedback.
• Track basic analytics and provide insights on performance.
• Stay current on social media trends and share fresh ideas.
• Assist with campaigns, promotions, and team projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their business applications.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Creative thinker who is eager to learn and contribute.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.

Details

• Part-time role: approx. 15–25 hours per week, flexible scheduling around classes.
• Based in Lake Charles, LA or Mobile/Baldwin County, AL.
• Hybrid/remote options may be available.
• Hourly pay (negotiable) or internship credit, depending on candidate.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Base Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
