Content Intern

PROFILE

The Content Intern supports the marketing team by creating, editing, and organizing digital content that strengthens brand presence, supports campaigns, and drives engagement. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to build hands-on experience in B2B marketing, content strategy, and digital communications in the engineering/technology sector.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with creating content for: Blog posts, landing pages, email campaigns, and occasionally social media.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Sharpen SOLIDWORKS skills and provide unique, non-DS assets for technical content.
• Topical, engineering focused writing.
• Support SEO efforts (keyword research, metadata, content optimization).
• Help manage content calendars and campaign timelines.
• Review and optimize content in WordPress.
• Conduct basic research on industry topics, competitors, and customer use cases.
Collaborate with the video team on projects and review for quality.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in engineering, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience using digital marketing tools for content, like WordPress, is an asset.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience using 3D CAD design software to design parts and assemblies.
Comfort using Microsoft Office tools.

COMPENSATION

• $20 per hour
