The Role
We are looking for an experienced, detail-obsessed Content Manager to own social media content creation, scheduling, and client communication for multiple UK clients simultaneously. You will use AI tools to produce content at scale, while ensuring every piece of content feels on-brand, intentional, and results-driven. You will work closely with the design team, clients, and the sales team to deliver content that makes our clients' brands impossible to ignore.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop monthly content strategies for each client — platforms, post types, themes, frequency, and tone of voice
- Build and manage content calendars for multiple clients simultaneously — planned at least 2 weeks in advance
- Research each client's industry, competitors, and target audience to ensure content is relevant and competitive
- Identify trending topics, formats, and platform-specific opportunities (Reels, Carousels, Stories, LinkedIn articles)
- Recommend content improvements proactively — if something isn't working, flag it and suggest a better approach
Content Creation Using AI Tools
- Use AI tools provided by us to generate, refine, and batch-produce social media captions, post copy, hooks, and content ideas
- Prompt and iterate AI tools effectively to produce content that sounds human, on-brand, and platform-native
- Write compelling captions with strong hooks, clear CTAs, and appropriate strategies
- Brief the design team on required visuals — provide clear, detailed creative briefs for each post
- Review all AI-generated content critically before submission — never publish unreviewed output
Scheduling & Publishing
- Schedule all client content using Buffer, Later, or native platform scheduling tools
- Ensure content is published at optimal times for each platform and each client's target audience
- Upload content to client Trello review boards and manage the full approval workflow — from draft to approved to scheduled
- Handle revision requests quickly and professionally — maximum 2 rounds per piece of content
- Maintain a zero-miss publishing record — late or missed posts are not acceptable
Client Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for your allocated clients — responsive, professional, and proactive
- Communicate content plans, updates, and changes clearly via WhatsApp or email
- Understand each client's business deeply — their products, target customers, seasonal trends, and marketing goals
- Produce clear monthly performance reports — reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance by type
- Flag underperforming content or declining metrics early and propose adjustments before clients notice
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Ads Manager to ensure organic content and paid ads are aligned in messaging and visuals
- Coordinate with the graphic design team daily — brief, chase, and review all visual assets
- Support the sales team by producing content examples and case study material for proposals
- Contribute ideas and content for Giantly's own social media channels — you are expected to walk the talk
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing social media for brands or in a digital agency environment
- Hands-on experience with AI content tools — Blaze.ai, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar — not just awareness
- Deep understanding of each major platform: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter/X
- Strong written English — all content is published to UK business audiences and must read naturally
- Highly organised — managing 5–10 client accounts simultaneously without quality slipping
- Experience with content scheduling tools — Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar
- Comfortable working in Trello or similar project management tools
- Eye for design — able to give clear, useful creative briefs to designers and identify when visuals aren't good enough
- Analytical mindset — able to read basic performance data and draw conclusions
