We're seeking a strategic Content Marketing Manager who will serve as the voice of Solo across all content touchpoints. This role is critical to building community, establishing thought leadership, and driving prospects through our sales funnel with compelling, conversion-focused content.
You'll own the content strategy that supports our go-to-market initiatives, manages our revenue orchestration process, and positions Solo as the definitive resource for home energy sales enablement insights. This is an opportunity to shape how the solar industry thinks about sales technology while driving measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:

Community Building & Thought Leadership
- Build and nurture engaged communities across prospects, customers, and partners through strategic content initiatives
- Develop content that establishes Solo as the trusted source for solar sales enablement insights and industry best practices
- Create engagement strategies that generate influence and create new business opportunities
- Foster relationships with industry influencers, partners, and customer advocates
- Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with go-to-market initiatives and new feature rollouts
- Create content roadmaps that support the customer journey from awareness through advocacy
- Plan and execute content campaigns that drive leads, nurture prospects, and retain customers
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure content supports positioning and messaging strategies
- Revenue Orchestration & Funnel Management
- Oversee and contribute to the revenue orchestration process through strategic content development
- Coordinate and execute monthly webinars designed to move prospects through the sales funnel
- Create nurture sequences and content paths that guide prospects from interest to purchase
- Develop sales enablement content that supports the sales team's objectives
- Content Creation & Implementation
- Write high-quality content across multiple formats: blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, social media, and web copy
- Develop technical content that translates complex solar industry concepts into accessible, actionable insights
- Create multimedia content strategies incorporating video, infographics, and interactive elements
- Maintain Solo's brand voice—intelligent, genuine, helpful, straightforward, and conversational
- Performance & Optimization
- Leverage HubSpot to manage content workflows, track performance, and optimize campaigns
- Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data insights
- A/B test content approaches to maximize engagement and conversion rates
- Report on content ROI and contribution to pipeline and revenue goals
Requirements:

5+ years of B2B content marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or technology

Proven track record of creating content strategies that drive measurable business results

Expert-level proficiency in HubSpot for content management, automation, and analytics

Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple content formats

Experience planning and executing webinars and virtual events

Strong understanding of content's role in revenue generation and funnel optimization

Experience in the solar, renewable energy, or construction technology industries

Knowledge of sales enablement tools and methodologies

Familiarity with technical product concepts and ability to translate them for various audiences

Experience with video content creation and editing

Background in community building and online engagement strategies

Understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization

Strategic thinker who can connect content initiatives to business outcomes

Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (e.g., 6+ hours a day) while researching, writing, editing, and managing content on a computer.

Frequent operation of a computer and related equipment, including typing, using a mouse, and navigating content management systems, web platforms, and collaboration tools.

Ability to visually assess and interpret information on computer screens, including reviewing drafts, analyzing performance data, and proofreading content.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including collaborating with internal teams, interviewing subject matter experts, and producing high-quality written content.
