The Content Marketing Manager will define and oversee the creation of content that supports Joorney’s strategic direction and goals. This includes overseeing our website content, blogs, social media accounts, advertising content, sales support materials, as well as seeking out and evaluating external media placement and collaboration opportunities. You are both organized and strategic and will play an important role in our growing marketing department. You will become a subject-matter expert and should learn, love, and care about what Joorney does and the topics we cover. You will also gain a deep understanding of each of our distinct target audiences. Through the coordination with other marketing team members, including third-party contractors, you will ensure all written and visual aspects of our content are created in line with our brand and messaging and in support of our objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the department management and Executives to identify opportunities that supports Joorney’s strategic direction and contribute to the company achieving its goals.
  • Craft a content strategy and calendar that increases brand awareness and drives qualified traffic into our funnels through both organic and paid channels.
  • Execute on that strategy, implementing SEO best practices across all content.
  • Oversee day-to-day content planning including ideation, scheduling, editing, publishing and promotion plans.
  • Work alongside marketing management to organize and direct the priorities and daily tasks of other marketing team members to ensure all deadlines of the department are met.
  • Recruit and manage third-party content contributors and multimedia creators, including agencies and freelancers.
  • Manage content materials approval and quality control process, including providing graphic design direction, writing and/or editing a variety of content, and fact-checking all content.
  • Gather insights on all target markets in order to create content that appeals to their specific pain points, interests, and needs.
  • Look for opportunities to attract clients and partners through content, including AI assistant optimization.
  • Provide support to the sales division by being the point of communication for all needs for sales support documents & marketing materials (e.g. email copy, sales presentations, one-page promo documents, price lists)
  • Be responsible for staying on top of content marketing trends and consistently educating and training team members in best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing and/or business (preferred) or substantial related experience
  • Strong understanding of and interest in B2B marketing, business formation, start-ups, business growth, and business funding required
  • Experience managing content within law/legal or immigration industry is a plus
  • 4+ years content writing and copywriting experience required
  • 2+ year project management experience required
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook/IG, and Google Ads preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot (preferred) or other CRM software required
  • Creative, with high standards for marketing copy and design elements
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Confident communicator and outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • MUST be a native or fluent English speaker and writer
  • Nice to have: fluency in Spanish
  • Be available during regular business hours (Eastern Time)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,700.00 per month
