Gazelle North America is seeking an experienced creative, and ambitious professional who wants to make an impact in a dynamic and fast-growing industry: ebikes. In this role, you won’t just “support” marketing projects, you’ll help shape how our brands are seen, felt, and experienced across North America. From digital campaigns to video storytelling, from blog posts to retailer toolkits, you’ll own creative execution that inspires people to get on bikes. We’re seeking someone with a sharp eye for design and a love for storytelling that inspires people to get on bikes.
We’re looking for someone with broad creative marketing experience and a strong digital mindset. You should be comfortable moving between copywriting, design, photography, and video, and confident adapting content across platforms and audiences. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with our North American marketing team and colleagues in the Netherlands, giving you visibility across the business and the opportunity to grow into expanded responsibilities as our team evolves.
Who are we?
Royal Dutch Gazelle has been making bikes in the Netherlands since 1892, producing over 300,000 annually. Today, we’re Europe’s market leader, employing more than 550 people worldwide, and we still proudly build our bikes in our Dutch factory.
In 2017, we launched Gazelle Bikes North America in Santa Cruz, California, to bring Dutch cycling culture across the Atlantic. Our fast-growing team is introducing U.S. and Canadian riders to the joy, health, and sustainability of ebikes. Alongside Gazelle, we distribute Urban Arrow, the world’s leading e-cargo bike brand. With more than 100,000 sold, Urban Arrow has propelled cargo bikes from a Dutch niche into a global solution for families. Together, we’re building a movement that’s redefining mobility in North America.
This job is located in Santa Cruz, California and is a hybrid schedule.
What you’ll do
  • Content & Campaigns – Write, design, and publish compelling content across our website, blog, email, and social channels. Own the content calendar and keep our storytelling fresh, consistent, and on-brand
  • Creative Production – Bring ideas to life through photography, video, and graphic design. Plan and execute shoots, edit content, and deliver best-in-class creative assets
  • Advertising & Digital – Support paid and organic campaigns with creative assets and coordination. Ensure timely delivery of advertising materials, and bring a strong digital affinity to help maximize impact across search, social, and display
  • Retail & Event Support – Develop custom marketing materials for our retailers, Experience Center, and events, ensuring local activation matches the power of our global brand
  • Collaboration & Growth – Work closely with our North American marketing team, HQ in the Netherlands, and outside partners
  • Contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and take ownership of projects that grow the brand and category
Competencies and Requirements
  • 4-8 years working in a creative marketing role with a strong focus in digital marketing
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt copy to brand voice and audience
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with an entrepreneurial mindset. An upbeat, can-do attitude and a flexible, scrappy spirit
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere)
  • Experience with CMS, ESPs, and social publishing tools (Magento, Wordpress, Storyblok, a plus)
  • Understanding of SEO basics, HTML, and CSS preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools and platforms e.g,. Promoboxx, Mailchimp, Magento, and Hubspot
  • Photography and photo editing skills; video production or editing skills are a major plus
Language Skills
Ability to read, comprehend, and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

Salary Range
This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $75,000 - $92,000.
