Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Content Specialist to join the firm as part of our Marketing Department’s Communications team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.

Responsibilities:
The Content Specialist will develop project descriptions, design stories, thought leadership pieces and other content that supports the firm’s storytelling and strengthens Corgan’s brand and reputation. While based in Communications, this role partners closely with Marketing to ensure our content aligns with sector priorities and trending topics.
  • Surface compelling storylines by collaborating with firm subject matter experts, sector leaders, and internal teams and conduct research and interviews to gather relevant insights and context for accurate and compelling storytelling.
  • Create compelling insight articles, Q&As, bylines, etc. to establish thought leadership.
  • Maintain brand voice and editorial standards across all written materials.
  • Work with graphics and photography teams on appropriate assets to support content.
  • Collaborate with the digital media specialist on posting content on website and digital channels.
  • Work along communications team to collaborate with MediaLab (in house media production team) to ensure leveraging content for use across communications platforms.
  • Formalize sector newsletter process – assist with creating newsletter specific content, coordinating with sector, research, communications and marketing teammates.
  • Use analytics tools to measure performance, report, and apply insights to continuously improve content strategy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in journalism, communications or related field.
  • 3 – 6 years of professional writing experience. Experience that includes architecture, design, real estate or the AEC industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, professional narratives across a variety of formats.
  • Strong interviewing, research, and editorial skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with firm leaders.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimizing content for digital platforms is a bonus.
