Golden Egg is expanding into LinkedIn territory, and we’re looking for a
Content Writer
to help us write campaigns for high-profile founders, CEOs, and some of the fastest-growing companies.
You’ll be responsible for managing multiple client accounts, crafting content in the voice of execs, working directly alongside our Director of LinkedIn, and turning raw ideas into scroll-stopping posts. From spicy takes to insightful threads to viral comedy one-liners, you’ll help shape how influential people and brands show up online.
📝
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Manage multiple LinkedIn accounts across industries (founders, operators, brands)
-
Ghostwrite posts, threads, and replies that feel smart, sharp, funny and true to each voice
-
Work closely with the Director of LinkedIn to refine tone, structure, and overall strategy
-
Help ideate content themes, angles, and hooks that match both brand and platform culture
-
Stay on top of trends, news and platform shifts to keep our clients relevant
-
Communicate directly with clients to gather insights, feedback, and voice notes
-
Track performance and adjust based on what’s working
-
Occasionally coordinate with meme creators, clip editors, and reply teams
-
Bonus Points:
you create memes for fun, have a visual eye, have dabbled in comedy in some point (doing things
just for the bit
does indeed count)
✅
You Might Be a Fit If...
-
You
live
on LinkedIn and understand what content works on the feed
-
You can write like a founder, think like a strategist, and edit like Gertrude Stein
-
You’re organized and able to manage multiple accounts
-
You know the difference between “tastefully edge” and “too cringe”
-
You’re familiar with (or excited to learn) how memes, media cycles, and virality work
-
You’ve ghostwritten before or have a curiosity about people in general
-
You’re NYC-based and thrive in a collaborative, in-person creative environment that enjoys riffing and crushing Pellegrino’s
-
Bonus Points:
you enjoy reading fiction, watching movies, good at riffing (this is actually important and helps us craft a lot of content)
💸
Compensation
-
Competitive base salary
-
Bonus potential based on performance
-
Real runway for growth as the team scales
Closing Thoughts…
-
This role is
highly
creative
-
We pride ourselves on working hard and like to celebrate wins as a team
-
We love creative people with ideas and enjoy experimenting with content to figure out what works and what doesn't
-
If you think this role is for you, send us a fantastic writing sample (short story, LinkedIn post, blog post, etc but it
must be a finished piece
, do not send a chapter of a book or screenplay) or write a banger Cover Letter. This is a writing position;
applications without a Cover Letter or writing sample will not be considered.
To be clear the Cover Letter does not have to be traditional, but it does have to catch and hold the attention of the Hiring Manager (Director of LinkedIn). Email at bottom, application must also be filled out.
-
The Hiring Manager will read every application submitted. We want the best possible candidate for this role, no stone will be left unturned.
-
Do your best to stand out.
