THE ROLE

The Contents Manager owns the full lifecycle of contents operations — from pack-out in the field to cleaning, storage, and return. You’ll lead a team, set the standard for how work gets done, and make sure every job reflects the quality TRG is known for. Contents work is personal — you’re handling people’s belongings during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We need a leader who builds a team that honors that responsibility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and hold the contents team accountable — right people, right seats, performing to expectation
• Own the end-to-end contents process: pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and return
• Ensure all documentation and deliverables meet quality standards before leaving the department
• Keep communication tight between contents and other departments so projects never stall
• Own department metrics — track, review, and keep key measurables on target each week
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement
• Make sure your team has the training, tools, and clarity to do their jobs well and grow at TRG
• Coordinate logistics for transport, storage, and retrieval; maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and site housekeeping standards on every job
• Support cleaning team operations with packing and deodorization as needed
• Report daily on hours, inventory counts, damages, delays, and crew performance
• Own the customer experience throughout the contents process — ensure satisfaction, handle escalations, and be the point of accountability when issues arise
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors including storage facilities, specialty restorers, and cleaning partners
• Participate in contents estimates and scope reviews; ensure accuracy and alignment with insurance documentation
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for the contents team
• Oversee contents management software and ensure accurate, consistent use across the team — Encircle, Xactimate, or similar
• Maintain awareness of department costs including labor, supplies, and job profitability

WHAT YOU NEED

• 2+ years in contents, pack-out, or restoration — supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Clear communicator with a customer-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments
• Flexible availability, including early mornings and occasional weekends
• IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT) and restoration software experience a plus
