Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Summary

Leading manufacturing company in Houston, TX is looking to add a Continuous Improvement Engineer with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to the team to drive operational excellence. In this role, you will lead projects that reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance performance across our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor Green Belts, and ensure improvement initiatives directly support strategic business goals. Direct hire role with flexible work hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, defects, and variability.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and drive process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts while facilitating cross-functional workshops.
• Develop, track, and report KPIs to measure and sustain improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to align projects with strategic business goals.
