Role Description

Ledger Advisories is expanding its network of accounting professionals to support a growing base of small business clients. We are seeking experienced Bookkeepers, Tax Preparers, CPAs, Enrolled Agents (EAs), and PTIN holders interested in flexible, remote contract work. Professionals in our network assist with services such as maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, business formation, and preparing individual or small business tax returns.

Qualifications

• Expertise in bookkeeping, tax preparation, or accounting services
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks Online, Xero, Wave, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Accounting principles
• Experience preparing individual or small business tax returns is a plus
• CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or valid PTIN credential preferred for tax preparation work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
• Experience working with small business clients preferred

Work Structure

This is a contract-based remote role. Ledger Advisories manages client acquisition, onboarding, and administrative operations, allowing professionals to focus on bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services for assigned clients.

Contractors will work on a per-engagement basis depending on client demand and workload availability.

Compensation

Compensation is structured on a contract basis per engagement, with revenue share determined by the scope and complexity of each project.
