Contract Administrator

The Contracts Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in Solar Optimum’s contracting process. This role will be responsible for reviewing home improvement contracts, addendums, and change orders, ensuring they align with company standards and management direction. The Contracts Administrator will also assist in developing and refining procedures, system requirements, and best practices to support automation, efficiency, and accuracy across the department. Collaboration with Sales and Operations teams will be essential, as well as contributing to team training and departmental support.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Review home improvement contracts, addendums, and change orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with management direction.
  • Support review of other contract types as directed by management.
  • Develop, document, and refine departmental procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing system requirements to improve contract management processes.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to resolve contract-related issues and ensure timely execution of agreements.
  • Provide support and training to team members on contract-related processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, state and government regulations, and industry best practices in all contract-related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in contracts administration, compliance, or a related field (construction, solar, or home improvement industry experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inaccuracies or inconsistencies in contracts and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency with DocuSign, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM/contract management systems preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, process improvement, and accuracy.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per month
