Position Title: Contract Administrator
Reports To: CEO
FLSA Status: Exempt

About the Role:
3 Reasons Consulting is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee the day-to-day management of contracts across multiple programs. This is a hands-on role responsible for both prime and subcontract administration, ensuring full compliance with FAR/DFARS, company policies, and customer requirements. You will partner closely with program managers, finance, and leadership to drive timely contract execution, support growth initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with government and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret contract terms and conditions to identify risks, ensure compliance, and clarify obligations.
  • Administer prime and subcontract agreements, including modifications, extensions, and closeouts.
  • Track funding, deliverables, and key deadlines to support program and financial management.
  • Draft contractual correspondence, including notifications, reports, and approvals.
  • Assist business development with proposal review, pricing inputs, and capture support.
  • Support subcontractor management, including issuing agreements, ensuring compliance, and monitoring performance.
  • Maintain contract files and documentation to support audits and internal reviews.
  • Serve as a point of contact for contracting officers and subcontractor representatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3–5 years of government contract administration.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ) and familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Unanet or similar tools preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • NCMA certification (CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM) is desired but not required.
  • Hands-on experience supporting both prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • Ability to adapt and take ownership in a fast-paced small business environment.
Location
  • This position offers a hybrid schedule with on-site work as needed. Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings or subcontractor oversight.
