Hiring: Contract Manager (FIDIC-based Contracts)


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead and manage all commercial activities related to FIDIC-based contracts. You will be instrumental in minimizing financial and contractual risks while ensuring project objectives are achieved. This is a leadership role requiring deep expertise in FIDIC contract management, financial oversight, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all commercial activities for FIDIC-based contracts.
  • Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts ensuring compliance with FIDIC standards.
  • Administer variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure accurate invoicing and payments.
  • Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing contract administration team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Represent the company in commercial discussions and negotiations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in commercial management, preferably with FIDIC-based contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contract principles and procedures.
  • Strong financial management and budget control experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • FIDIC contract negotiation and management expertise.
  • Financial management and budget control skills.
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and relationship management.
