Estimation/Tendering Manager (Geotechnical)

The Role
Key role, responsible for leading the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders, managing the full estimation process, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical and commercial proposals. The role requires a deep understanding of geotechnical construction techniques, ground engineering solutions, and local market dynamics. Duties & Responsibilities • Lead the preparation and submission of tenders for geotechnical and ground engineering projects. • Review technical specifications, drawings, and contract documents to develop accurate and competitive bids. • Coordinate with engineering, design, operations, and procurement teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy. • Analyze project risks, cost structures, and constructability to optimize tender strategies. • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders within the geotechnical sector. • Support business development. • Support project handover to execution teams and provide ongoing technical/commercial input as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering • Minimum 7 years’ experience in estimation and tendering for geotechnical or specialist foundation contracting, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role. • Proven track record in preparing and winning tenders for geotechnical projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC. • Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical construction methods and design principles. • Solid understanding of contractual, commercial, and risk management aspects of tenders. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. • Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
