Job Description – Contracts Engineer
Location: Reco Diq, Balochistan
Rotation: 28 days on / 14 days off
Department: Contracts
Reports to: Director, Project Manager
Purpose of the Position:
To manage and administer project contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and that correspondence, variations, and claims are properly documented and communicated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain records of all project contracts and subcontracts.
- Draft and issue correspondence, notices, and letters to contractors and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure timely contract compliance.
- Track potential claims and variations, ensuring proper documentation and timely submission.
- Support negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, project procedures, and client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date contract logs and status reports for management review.
- Assist in risk assessment and resolution of contractual disputes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration within EPC or mining/construction projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract forms.
- Excellent English communication and drafting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of contractual obligations.
