General Manager Procurement is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities at One Network, ensuring the timely sourcing of materials, services, and solutions across telecom, ICT, power, and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on cost optimization, vendor management, compliance, and strategic sourcing, aligning with organizational objectives and budgetary controls.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Planning

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with One Network’s business goals and project requirements.
  • Lead strategic sourcing for telecom equipment, ICT solutions, power systems, civil works, and managed services.
  • Ensure procurement planning aligns with project timelines, budgets, and operational priorities.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and SLA management to ensure value for money.
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards.

Cost Control & Budget Management

  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and achieve savings without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  • Ensure procurement activities remain within approved budgets and delegated financial authority.
  • Support finance and management with cost analysis, forecasting, and spend reports.

Operational Procurement Oversight

  • Oversee procurement of CAPEX and OPEX items, including telecom hardware, fiber, power equipment, IT systems, and services.
  • Ensure timely issuance of RFQs/RFPs, evaluation, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
  • Coordinate with engineering, projects, operations, and finance teams for smooth execution and handover.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including vendor dependency and market volatility.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance performance and accountability.
  • Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and promote a culture of transparency and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA / Supply Chain) will be an added advantage.
  • 12–18 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Prior experience in telecom, ICT, power, or infrastructure organizations is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing large procurement budgets and complex vendor ecosystems.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
  • In-depth understanding of telecom, ICT, power, and infrastructure procurement.
  • Excellent financial, analytical, and cost-management skills.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
