Assistant Manager Imports and Supply Chain

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and proactive professional to join our logistics team. This role is vital for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and finished products from international suppliers to our local facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in import operations, a deep understanding of customs documentation, and advanced proficiency in the Odoo system.

Key Responsibilities

• Management: Handle all documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, BL, Customs Declarations) exclusively within the Odoo environment.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely vessel/shipment arrivals.
• Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with Pakistan Customs regulations, SROs, and international trade laws.
• Shipment Tracking: Provide real-time updates to management using Odoo’s inventory and supply chain modules.
• Problem Solving: Resolve logistical delays, port discrepancies, or clearance issues efficiently.
• Local Supply Chain: Coordinate with local transport and warehouse teams for the final mile delivery from the port/dry port to the DHA facility.
• Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous digital and physical records for audit and reporting purposes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business.
• Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Imports/Logistics.
• Technical Skills: Must be an expert in Odoo (Supply Chain & Inventory modules).
• Knowledge: Expert knowledge of WeBOC, LC opening, and international shipping terms (Incoterms).
• Soft Skills: Excellent multitasking abilities and strong communication skills.
