Custom Clearance Agent

• Handle customs clearance for air import shipments in compliance with local customs laws and regulations
• Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation including GD/BOE, invoices, packing lists, AWB, COO, permits, and licenses
• Classify goods accurately using HS codes and calculate applicable duties, taxes, and other charges
• Liaise with Customs authorities, airlines, terminal operators, and clearing systems for smooth clearance and cargo release
• Track shipment status and ensure timely delivery to avoid demurrage or storage charges
• Resolve customs queries, examinations, valuation issues, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and finance teams regarding shipment status and billing
• Stay updated with changes in customs regulations, tariff updates, and trade compliance rules

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance, specifically in air import operations
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, HS classification, valuation, and duty structure
• Hands-on experience with customs clearing systems and documentation processes
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
