Contract Engineer

A Contract Engineer manages the full lifecycle of engineering project contracts, blending technical expertise with legal/commercial understanding to draft, negotiate, review, and oversee agreements, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, handling claims/variations, managing supplier performance, and aligning project delivery with contractual obligations, often acting as a bridge between technical teams and legal/commercial departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor various sources to identify potential construction and development projects.
  • Prepare Bid/No Bid forms and prospect summaries to evaluate opportunities and make strategic decisions.
  • Draft, review, and manage project contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards.
  • Independently draft/Final pre-qualification documents, and technical/commercial Bids tailored to construction projects.
  • Create and maintain compelling presentations that showcase the company’s strengths, achievements, and project portfolio.
  • Develop comprehensive project data sheets, team CVs, MOUs, and JV agreements as required for bids and partnerships.
  • Utilize MS Office, MS Visio, and internet research effectively for documentation and opportunity tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure the seamless preparation and submission of bids.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients and stakeholders, demonstrating excellent coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • Any other related task assigns by reporting line.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
