“Contract/Claim Executive”
in Çalık Enerji Headquarters located in
Istanbul;
Qualifications;

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field

Experience (5+ years) in contract management, specifically in EPC power plant projects
-
Strong experience in negotiating and drafting complex contracts, including EPC agreements, subcontracts, and supplier agreements
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Turkish and English
-
Ability to manage contracts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring all obligations are met
-
Proven experience with FIDIC type of Contracts

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team

Fluency in English is a must

Willingness and flexibility to travel as required by the projects
Responsibilities:

Development, review, and negotiation of EPC contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and service-level agreements

Assist in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring all contracts align with project goals and company objectives

Provide input and advice to internal teams during contract negotiations, with a focus on minimizing risks and maximizing value for the organization

Monitor and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms, timelines, and deliverables

Handle contract-related queries, variations, claims, and disputes, escalating issues as needed

Maintain comprehensive records of all contract-related documentation and communication

Identify and evaluate potential contractual risks, providing solutions in collaboration with project teams

Assist in advising project teams on their contractual rights and obligations, ensuring a clear understanding of potential liabilities

Collaborate with other departments, including legal, procurement, and project management, to ensure alignment of contract strategies with project needs

Support effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution
