Contract Lead

Job Role :

  • Ensure efficient management of contracts and tenders, support smooth project execution, and provide practical guidance to business units and stakeholders to enable effective operations.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drafts and interprets contract documents to resolve issues, prevent disputes, and ensure smooth project execution
  • Provide on-site advice to the company's business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters, and contractual implications of intended courses of action.
  • Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement.
  • Reviews assigned contracts, keeps the management fully informed of any risk(s) and related implications applicable to each contract that has arisen or might arise, which could affect the business/projects, with a plan for mitigation of such risks. Alternatively, obtain necessary consents to proceed.
  • Acts as the primary contact between the potential partners, project team, and/or business unit, regulatory and legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
  • Complete Lifecycle management of contracts from pre-bidding phase to contract closure phase and maintain an audit trail of all contract negotiations, highlighted and agreed risks, and liabilities.
  • Efficiently manage and handle tenders, RFPs/RFQs in accordance with the Tendering Process. Manage commercial negotiations and review technical evaluations.


Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in a telecom or Information Technology environment
  • Professional qualification in commercial contracts/supply chain management, preferably MCIPS, CPCM, IACCM, LLM or equivalent.
