About the Role
- We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Manager to own the complete lifecycle of contracts from planning and tendering to execution, compliance, and dispute resolution.
- This role is not just about paperwork; it’s about bringing clarity, accountability, and smooth coordination across teams and stakeholders. You will act as a bridge between clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of project goals.
- Along with strong technical and legal expertise, you will support Technical Billing, Planning, and Accounting functions, ensuring that contracts and financial aspects are in sync with project requirements.
- You will report directly to the Company’s Director and Project Manager, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure contractual, financial, and operational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, analyse, and negotiate contracts to safeguard company interests while ensuring fairness.
- Manage contracts across their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms, deliverables, and timelines.
- Plan, track, and monitor contractual activities, ensuring projects are executed within deadlines.
- Identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the single point of contact between clients, government authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Provide contractual support to Technical Billing, Planning, and accounting teams to ensure seamless project and financial management.
- Handle disputes, claims, and legal matters with professional and timely resolutions.
- Contribute to bids and tenders by reviewing risks, compliance obligations, and commercial terms.
- Maintain systematic and audit-ready records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
- Take ownership of challenges and resolve contract-related issues proactively to keep projects on track.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and managing complex contracts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and contract/project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Government tenders, EPC contracts, and FIDIC conditions.
- Background in infrastructure, construction, or large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Familiarity with labour laws, arbitration, and litigation support.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation experience.
- Ability to work effectively with legal, project, procurement, HR, billing, and accounts teams.
