We are seeking for Contract Manager that will oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards, and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract administration from award to close-out (notices, instructions, deliverables, compliance).
- Manage variations/change control: evaluation, pricing, substantiation, approvals, and tracking.
- Handle claims and entitlements (EOT, prolongation/disruption) and protect contractual rights.
- Provide contractual advice to project teams and ensure correct interpretation of contract terms (e.g., FIDIC).
- Manage contractual correspondence and records to support entitlement and dispute avoidance.
- Monitor contractor/consultant compliance, performance, and key contractual milestones/KPIs.
- Support dispute resolution and negotiations with clients/contractors, coordinating with legal when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Law (or related).
- 10+ years contract/commercial management experience on major projects (construction/infrastructure/industrial).
- Strong working knowledge of FIDIC (or similar forms) and contract administration procedures.
- Proven experience with variations, claims, EOTs, and dispute avoidance/resolution.
- Strong commercial understanding of cost, risk, and schedule impacts (baseline/programme awareness).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong reporting/document control capability; proficient in MS Office and contract management systems (plus).
