Contract Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager with 10+ years of proven experience in construction or MEP projects, preferably in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial, and project requirements, and mitigating contractual risks. This role involves overseeing subcontractor agreements, claims management, cost control, and effective coordination with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and manage all contracts, subcontracts, and agreements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, UAE laws, and industry standards.
• Assess and manage contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and process variation orders, claims, and change orders.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Conduct contract negotiations, evaluations, and approvals.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce contractual obligations.
• Prepare reports on contract status, claims, disputes, and commercial risks.
• Liaise with legal advisors, clients, and consultants to resolve disputes.
• Support project closeout, final accounts, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Law (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in contract management for construction/MEP projects.
• UAE construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, local authority regulations, and FIDIC contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and risk management skills.
