Contract Psychiatrist 315 Stockton

Funk and Associates is seeking 3 relief/contract psychiatrists at the state correctional facility at Stockton, CA. EOP is seeking psychiatrists for 4 x10h weekdays with a minimum of six months. PIP side is currently full but typically offers a higher rate.

This is a forensic facility, and the patients are forensic patients. This is a state facility, but according to contract the name may not be advertised. A criminal background check, drug test, and CALPERS affidavit will be part of the hiring process. Those with an existing locums contract with CDC/Management Solution will be subject to extra review and approval.

An active CA medical license, ABPN certificate, active DEA, active NPI, BLS certification, and medical malpractice insurance is required. The applicant must be authorized to work in the USA. We can assist with these on a case-by-case basis subject to rate adjustment.

Funk and Associates is owned by a relief psychiatrist, and our goal is to deliver as much of the company's rate to the doctor as possible. As a result, malpractice insurance, licensing, transport, and lodging expenses are borne by the candidate, unless alternate arrangements are made. Our rate is listed as a range because calling out or inability to complete shifts is subject to a penalty from the client. Additionally for the top rate, the candidate will be paid when FAA is paid, typically 80 days after invoicing. Faster payment is subject to approval and will affect the rate. Advances are negotiable for new hires. One week of orientation is required by the facility and paid at half the patient care rate.
