Overview
Role Overview: Design and conduct the contract development, tendering, execution, and support administration of service contracts, ensuring contract compliance and corporate controls are in place, to provide end users with best-in-class service at the optimal cost. Involves reviewing processes, developing contract KPIs, and ensuring cost optimization while maintaining quality standards. Regularly provides reports and updates to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and issuance of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and other solicitation documents.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, technical teams) to define requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Maintain tender schedules, timelines, and ensure adherence to internal and external deadlines.
- Facilitate the bid evaluation process, including pre-qualification assessments, commercial and technical evaluations.
- Prepare tender evaluation reports and documentation for management approval.
- Act as liaison with vendors during the tender process, responding to queries and facilitating clarifications.
- Ensure fair, transparent, and compliant engagement with all bidders.
- Draft, review, and analyze various types of contracts including service agreements, procurement contracts, NDAs, SLAs, etc.
- Identify risks, obligations, and ensure alignment with corporate policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update the contract repository with executed contracts and track key milestones (renewals, expiries, deliverables).
- Monitor performance obligations and ensure timely renewals, amendments, or terminations where necessary.
- Ensure all tender and contract processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract and tender management procedures, templates, and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field from a recognized institute.
Desirable recognized certifications in Project Management / Business Administration.
English Language proficient.
5-6 years of experience.
Desirable CIPS, IACCM, PMP or equivalent qualified.
