Turning Point, Inc. is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and organized Program Assistant to join our treatment team. In this critical role, you'll help ensure the smooth daily operation of our treatment center while offering meaningful support to clients on their recovery journey.


Work Schedule Offered for this contract:

Saturdays-Sundays 7am-3pm AND Mondays- Tuesdays 3:30pm-11:30pm

What You’ll Do:

As a Program Assistant, you’ll be the supportive backbone of our client services. Your role will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily routines, schedules, and adherence to program expectations
  • Supporting the Program Manager in managing client appointments, services, and activities
  • Keeping accurate shift notes, reports, and client records in line with confidentiality standards
  • Responding to behavioral emergencies with professionalism and calm, using de-escalation techniques
  • Managing phones, emails, supplies, and other daily administrative tasks
  • Collaborating with counselors, medical staff, and the broader treatment team to support client care
  • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to a positive, recovery-focused environment

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:


We’re seeking someone who’s organized, empathetic, and ready to make a difference. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in human services or recovery support is a plus
  • Understanding of addiction treatment and mental health support
  • need to speak, read, and write English.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Confidence in responding to crises and managing high-stress situations calmly
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Commitment to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and program integrity
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays
