Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and administer construction contracts, subcontracts, and agreements
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and project specifications
- Manage contract correspondence, notices, and records (including RFIs, variations, and claims)
- Evaluate and process change orders, variations, and extensions of time (EOT)
- Support project teams in contractual and commercial matters
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contract-related issues
- Assist in claims preparation, assessment, and negotiation
- Monitor contract risks and advise project management on mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and logs
- Support final accounts and contract close-out activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in contracts administration within construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred)
- Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Aconex)
- Basic understanding of ERP systems for cost and commercial tracking
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
