PREFERABLY: CIVIL ENGINEER
1. Contract Preparation & Administration
- Draft, review, and revise contract documents, agreements, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Ensure all contract terms comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare contract templates, addendums, and amendments as required.
- Maintain a contract register and ensure all contractual documentation is properly filed and updated.
2. Tendering & Bidding Support
- Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and commercial conditions.
- Identify contractual risks, ambiguities, and obligations.
- Prepare commercial proposals, clarifications, and contract qualifications.
- Coordinate with technical, procurement, and finance teams during bid preparation.
3. Contract Negotiation
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure equitable risk allocation and protection of the company’s interests.
- Provide recommendations to management on final contract terms.
4. Project Execution Support
- Monitor contract compliance during project execution.
- Review and prepare contractual correspondence, notices, and claims.
- Track variations, change orders, extensions of time (EOT), and cost impacts.
- Support the project team in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
5. Claims & Dispute Management
- Identify and prepare claims, including delay, disruption, and additional cost claims.
- Compile supporting documentation such as schedules, site records, and correspondence.
- Assist in dispute resolution and negotiation meetings.
6. Risk & Compliance Management
- Conduct contractual risk assessments for tenders and ongoing projects.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and client requirements.
- Advise project teams on contractual rights and obligations.
7. Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports on contract status, risks, variations, and claims.
- Update management on key contractual issues affecting project cost and schedule.
