Job Title: Contracts Engineer (High-Rise Building Project)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Engineer to support the commercial and contractual management of a high-rise building project in Dubai. The role involves administration of contracts, preparation of claims, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of main contracts and subcontracts
• Prepare and review contractual correspondence (notices, letters, submissions)
• Support preparation and evaluation of variation claims, EOT (Extension of Time), and prolongation claims
• Interpret contract conditions, particularly FIDIC Contracts
• Maintain contract registers, logs, and documentation systems
• Monitor project progress against contractual milestones
• Assist in dispute resolution and claims negotiation with clients and subcontractors
• Coordinate with project, planning, and commercial teams on contractual matters
• Ensure timely submission of notices in accordance with contract requirements
• Support preparation of final accounts and close-out documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in contracts administration within construction projects
• Proven experience in high-rise building projects in UAE (main contractor preferred)
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts and contractual procedures
• Experience in handling claims (EOT, variations, delay analysis support)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
