Contracts Manager

MYCRANE Trading FZE is a trading company engaged in the purchase and sale of lifting equipment. We are seeking a qualified contracts manager to support our operations in multiple jurisdictions.

Main activity:

To provide contractual advice and support to the company’s procurement and trading operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Contracts Manager will draft and review contracts, manage legal risks, and safeguard the company’s interests in commercial transactions, shipping, and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Contracts & Transactions:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including supply, sales agreements, purchase agreements, shipping contracts, distribution, and agency agreements.
• Advise on contract execution, liabilities, indemnities, and dispute resolution mechanisms.

Legal Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with laws related to international trade, customs, shipping, and commercial transactions.
• Advise management on sanctions, embargoes, and export control restrictions.
• Assist with regulatory filings, licenses, and permits for trading operations.

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution:

• Identify potential risks in transactions and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, or arbitration when required.

Corporate & Governance:

• Provide input on corporate matters, including company policies, governance, and compliance.
• Draft and maintain standard legal templates and internal policies.
• Advise management on legal implications of new markets or business models.

Advisory Role:

• Act as an internal consultant on all contract matters for business.
• Support finance, sales, and operations teams with legal advice in day-to-day activities.
• Conduct training for employees on compliance, anti-bribery, and corporate ethics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law preferrable; Master’s degree is a plus. 5 years of experience in a contract / subcontract role, ideally in trading, import/export, shipping, or logistics companies.
• Strong understanding of contract law, international trade regulations, and commercial litigation/arbitration.
• Excellent command of English.
