In-Office Requirements:
This role requires up to 10% presence at our Downtown Seattle headquarters, Standard business hours Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Remote Work Eligibility:
For employees residing outside of the Seattle metropolitan area, remote work may be considered in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, FL, OR, TN, VA, or WA. Final approval is determined through a management review process.

About The Position
The Contracts Management Specialist is responsible for leading our organization’s agreements and contracts processes. You will lead the full lifecycle of contract management for the SEIU 775 Benefits Group, its three associated Trusts, and Carina. The position will ensure our service vision is legally sound and socially impactful. This person will act as the strategic liaison between our internal teams and external business partners, ensuring every agreement maximizes value for our members while remaining strictly compliant with Washington State law.
You Will

Lead our organization’s contract lifecycle by directing the end-to-end administration of MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, Conflict of Interest, and other contractual agreements;

Serve as the subject matter expert and administrator for our contract lifecycle management (CLM) database, ensuring data integrity and optimizing workflows;

Establish and refine internal policies that streamline contract preparation, ensuring accuracy-first documentation across the board;

Analyze sourcing strategies and trends to mitigate risk;

Partner with internal contract owners and guide negotiations that balance fiscal responsibility with mission-driven outcomes;

Advise departments on contractual rights and obligations, translating complex legal jargon into actionable guidance for staff at all levels;

Oversee vendor compliance, including COI (Certificate of Insurance) tracking;

Reporting: Manage and distribute organizational filings, including Annual Reports;

From time to time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
You Will Need To Have
-
3-5+ years of direct experience in contract administration, administration or procurement in a legal environment;

Demonstrated success in managing fluctuating case volumes, with the agility to pivot between high-intensity contract cycles and long-term operational projects or reporting during off-peak periods;

A deep understanding of process improvement and the ability to audit complex documents for legal and operational readability;

Advanced proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with CLM software;

Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse organizational hierarchies;

Ability to problem solve and resolve complex contractual issues with minimal supervision.
It Will Be Great If You Have

A degree in business, finance, accounting, related field or applicable work experience in contracting;

Experience with Agiloft is a plus;

Experience working in a Non-Profit, small but growing organization, or both.
Salary Range

$89,356.91 to $116,590.50
