Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to manage, review, and administer construction-related contracts across projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring full compliance with UAE laws, FIDIC contract conditions, and company standards, while safeguarding the organization’s commercial and legal interests throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and legal agreements in line with UAE laws and company policies.
  • Provide contractual and commercial support to project, procurement, and senior management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and proactively identify contractual risks, claims, and dispute exposure.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, variations, correspondence, approvals, and amendments.
  • Support preparation and evaluation of claims, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and change orders with proper contractual justification.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on disputes, arbitration, and claim resolution when required.
  • Support tendering and bidding activities by reviewing and advising on contract terms and conditions.
  • Advise management and project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor contract milestones, ensuring timely renewals, extensions, amendments, or terminations in line with project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline (legal background preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience as a Contracts Specialist / Contracts Administrator within the UAE construction or contracting industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE Civil Code, FIDIC forms of contract, and construction law.
  • Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, administration, and risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and contract management systems.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an added advantage).
