Controller - Finance Department | Wichita, KS | Full-Time

About the Role Starkey, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and lead our finance department. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial reporting and Accounts Receivable/Billing operations.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements
  • Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable/Billing team, including billings, data imports, cash receipts, and payment applications
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial strategies and process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience
  • Previous experience supervising and managing personnel
  • Strong skills in general ledger, A/R, billing, A/P, account reconciliation, and banking
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus
